Es hätte ein weiteres wunderschönes Highlight werden können. Eine Stunde Aufstieg vom Hotel entfernt findet einmal in der Woche ein Luxuspicknick statt. Das Mittagessen wird für alle Gäste auf den Berg verlegt. Bedauerlicherweise musste das Picknick aber aufgrund etwas widriger Wetterbedingungen ganz kurzfristig abgesagt werden. Zum Glück waren wir noch nicht allzu hungrig, als wir ohne jegliche Vorräte auf dem Picknickplatz Lai Nair ankamen und zum Glück kamen uns noch ein paar andere gestrandete Wanderer und Mountainbiker entgegen. Wir hatten schon große Zweifel gehabt, ob wir überhaupt am richtigen Ort wären. Um uns das Mittagessen dann auch wirklich zu verdienen, wurde unsere geplante Wanderung kurzfristig so umgestaltet, dass wir es sehr zur Freude der Jungs noch genau zur Pizza im Hotel zurück geschafft haben.
It could have been another wonderful highlight. An hour's climb away from the hotel they organize a luxury picnic once a week . Lunch will be transferred on the mountain for all guests. Unfortunately due to instable weather conditions the picnic had to be canceled last-minute. Luckily we were not too hungry when we arrived at the picnic area Lai Nair without any supplies and luckily we met a couple of other stranded hikers and mountain bikers. We had already had serious doubts about being in the right place. We then had to redesign our planed tour a little so we could make it back to the hotel in time for pizza that was offered for lunch which really pleased the boys a lot.
