The Lower Engadine in Switzerland is a good 400 km away from home. We arrive in the early afternoon. A quick check-in in our time-honored art-nouveau hotel. Fast unpack and search for the hiking boots. The sun is shining and we walk cross country through beautiful flower meadows from Vulpera to Tarasp.
